Rebecca Update* I coach professional working women to reach their potential and become successful career moms, both at work and at home.

As a solo mother of two little girls who works in a corporate environment, I know just how steep the learning curve can be to go from career woman to CareerMom!

As such, I founded CareerMom because I was disappointed by the lack of resources available to support mothers as they returned to work. After my first maternity leave, I was exhausted, burnt out and convinced I was doing a terrible job both at work and at home! Struggling to create healthy boundaries or any semblance of build work life balance, I knew there had to be another way.

A former co-chair of my firm's women's network, I had always been passionate about empowering women to reach their potential in life. And as a certified life coach, return to work mentor and a Director at a top tier management consultancy with more than two decades of problem-solving experience helping some of the world's largest organisations - I put my professional experience to work to solve this very personal challenge!

I have spent five years developing and testing tools such as the Three Minute Miracle for time management, the "Baby Steps" maternity leave training course and other resources specifically designed to support the challenging transition from career girl to working mother. I am passionate about sharing these resources with other mothers to help make their path along this journey a little smoother and am delighted to share them with you!

My first-of-its-kind CareerMom Work & Home Planner recognises the equal importance of career and family life by having a two page daily spread: one side for work projects and the other for home responsibilities. Realising that running out of page space when writing your to do list only adds to the mental load, I designed it specifically for working mothers to be more intentional, reduce overwhelm and create balance across all areas of life.
